Support Service

At SBS International all staff understand their duty to protect children and provide support for their holistic growth – all students have trusted adults to lean on. Wider provision to support children is articulated through policy and practice and standards are internally regulated. School services include:

  • Onsite nursing care.
  • Refectory provision that is responsive to student’s dietary and health needs
  • Learning Support services for children with Additional Educational Needs (AEN)
  • Support for English Language Learners.
  • Comprehensive Counselling services.

We recognise that connection with external services is essential in creating a supportive ecosystem for the school. External networks enable early identification of potential problems affecting children’s wellbeing and early preventative measures to support the child or cohort. Multi-agency networking also acts as a bridge between home and school, and often supports a shared understanding of wellbeing within a family context.
