4. ASSESSMENT
SBS International Bangkok is an English-language learning school which means that the language of instruction is English. To support language acquisition, non-native English speakers will be assessed with a generic English Proficiency Test (reading, writing, and verbal) prior to placement – this is not a pass or fail test.
For entry to examination programmes in Secondary School students must demonstrate an academic profile conducive to this level of study. Entry to the full A Level programme requires a minimum of 5 (A*-C) IGCSE grades or equivalent. In some circumstances it may be necessary to conduct a Standardised Cognitive Ability test to further assist placement in our programme.
5. PLACEMENT
Confirmation and guarantee of a place at the school. 
An admissions decision will be made as soon as possible. Successful applications will receive a formal offer letter along with an invoice for the Placement Fee payment which guarantees your place (Placement Fee must be received within 7 days to reserve the place).
Fees must be paid within the stated time frame in order to secure your child’s place. These include:

In some circumstances it may also be necessary to get to know your child and the way he/she learns in an interview with one of our academic leadership team. This may be done face to face or online.
